Dennis Walsh
Chair (Interim), Non-Executive Director
Dennis Walsh (GAICD) was appointed to the Transmax Board as Non-Executive Director in February 2023, and appointed Interim Chair in April 2023. With 35 years of experience in the transport sector, both public and private, Dennis serves as the Chief Engineer of Transport and Main Roads. He oversees all technical matters related to the delivery of the Queensland Transport and Road Infrastructure Program.
He has worked across various areas, including strategic planning, traffic and transport planning, road safety policy and engineering, road design, road operations, rail regulation, heavy vehicle operations, and Intelligent Transport Systems. He has contributed to a range of national groups and is the Queensland Director on the ANCAP Board, a board member and Vice President of ITS Australia, an Austroads board member, and a member of the interim board of CCAT. He is an honorary member of the Institute of Public Works Engineers Australia. He is also the recipient of the outstanding QUT Alumni Award 2021, the Engineers Australia National Transport Medal 2023, received the Public Service Medal (PSM) in the 2024 Australia Day Awards and was appointed as a Professor in Transport Engineering at QUT in March 2025. Dennis is committed to bringing together the skills and knowledge of his team and their partners to embrace new technologies, engage with customers and drive new ideas into action for the benefit of the community. Dennis is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a member of Engineers Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Naomi Seddon
Non-Executive Director
Naomi Seddon was appointed to the Transmax Board as Non-Executive Director in February 2023. Naomi’s legal career spans three countries over the last 19 years where she has not only worked with close to 2,000 different companies across many different markets and industries, but she is also one of the few lawyers in the world to hold legal qualifications from 3 different countries.
Naomi is a partner at global law firm Littler Mendelson, an author, and the founder of workplace wellness company Global Wellness Inc. In 2016, Legal 500 named Naomi a top attorney in the United States for legal advice and counselling.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Law from Deakin University and a Master of Laws, Employment/Workplace Relations Law from Monash University.
